Healing Rooms Testimony: Alcohol Free

After visiting Bethany, I felt led to attend the Soaking & Healing Room on a Friday evening.

At the time, I had just started a new job, had made the decision to give up alcohol, and committed to working on my health.

From the moment I arrived, I was met with such genuine love, care, and compassion. I had never encountered people who listened so attentively, welcomed me so openly, and created such a safe space to share my heart.

I shared my concerns, and they prayed for me with such faith and kindness — even going so far as to print out God’s promises for me to pray over my own life.

Today, I can truly say I am thriving in my job. Alcohol is a distant memory, and I am 31kg lighter. The ongoing support, prayer, and love experienced in the Friday night Healing Rooms have been absolutely life-changing.

I am forever grateful to God and to the incredible people at Bethany for being vessels of His love and healing.
