Adult Education at Bethany Educenter: How To Pass Your Matric Without Quitting Your Day Job

The primary focus of the Bethany EduCentre is to provide facilities, resources and educational programs for adults and youth of the community to capacitate them and strengthen their academic abilities.

The centre will develop and enhance student skill levels, thereby increasing student success in a dynamic and supportive learning community.

The Centre currently offers Adult Matric classes for those wishing to complete their matric.

Adult Matric Centre

Bethany Educentre currently offers matric classes to adults. Min. requirement is grade 9 and be 21yrs and older. Classes are from Mon – Thurs 6:00 – 7:30pm. The Adult Matric year runs from Aug 2025 – May/June 2026. Exams will be written in May/June 2026.

Please note that you need 6 subjects for your matric certificate which must include a Home Language (English) and a First Additional Language (Afrikaans). We recommend that students do 3 subjects now and 3 next year.

We do not require any registration to attend classes. However registration is required for the exams in May/June. Exam registration opens in October. We will assist with registration for the exams.
