For the 3 Year Bible Diploma in Biblical Studies and Theology Program, enrollment is open to everyone. Regardless of your academic background or previous qualifications, if you have a hunger for God and a desire to serve with excellence, you are welcome to enrol.

Pat Kelly’s primary purpose is to empower you with sound doctrine, sharpening your gifts to serve God with greater excellence. Below is the roadmap for Pat Kelly’s 3-Year Diploma and the 3-Year Advanced Diploma programs.

Please note The 3 Year Advanced Diploma is only for students who complete and graduate with the 3 Year Diploma in Bible Studies and Theology

Curriculum Structure for the 3 Year Diploma in Biblical Studies and Theology

Year One

  • Term 1 & 2: Old Testament 1 & 2; Doctrine of God and Doctrine of Jesus Christ.
  • Term 3 & 4: New Testament 1 & 2; Doctrine of The Holy Spirit and The Application of The Work of Redemption.

Year Two

  • Term 1 & 2: Missions 1 & 2; Soul Winning; Homiletics and Public Speaking.
  • Term 3 & 4: Discipleship; Ethics; Cults (Jehovah’s Witness).

Year Three

  • Term 1 & 2: Dare to be different 1 & 2; Genesis; John.
  • Term 3 & 4: Romans 1; Romans 2; Typology.

A Deeper Look into the Curriculum

Year One: Building the Foundation

  • Old Testament 1 & 2: A comprehensive survey of the first half of the Bible, exploring the history, law, and prophets that point toward the coming Messiah.
  • Doctrine of God: A study of the nature, attributes, and character of God the Father, establishing a right view of the Creator.
  • Doctrine of Jesus Christ: An in-depth look at the person and work of Christ, focusing on His divinity, humanity, and redemptive purpose.
  • New Testament 1 & 2: Examining the Gospels, the birth of the Church in Acts, and the Epistles to understand the New Covenant.
  • Doctrine of The Holy Spirit: Focusing on the person and ministry of the Holy Spirit, His gifts, and His role in the life of the believer.
  • The Application of The Work of Redemption: Understanding how Christ’s sacrifice is applied to our lives through grace, justification, and sanctification.

Year Two: Outreach and Character

  • Missions 1 & 2: Learning the heart of God for the nations and the practical strategies for global and local mission work.
  • Soul Winning: Practical training on how to share the Gospel effectively and lead others into a relationship with Jesus.
  • Homiletics and Public Speaking: Developing the skills to prepare and deliver powerful, Spirit-led messages with clarity and confidence.
  • Discipleship: Focusing on the process of growing as a follower of Christ and the responsibility of mentoring others.
  • Ethics: Examining moral principles and Christian conduct in a modern world, based on the standards of Scripture.
  • Cults (Jehovah’s Witness): A specific study on understanding and responding to the teachings of cults with truth and grace.

Year Three: Deep Study and Graduation

Typology: Exploring the “types and shadows” found in the Bible, showing how Old Testament people and events serve as pictures of New Testament truths.

Dare to be Different 1 & 2: A specialized module designed to challenge your character and call you to a higher standard of consecrated leadership.

Genesis: An intensive study of the “Book of Beginnings,” uncovering the roots of our faith and God’s covenant promises.

John: A deep exploration of the fourth Gospel, focusing on the “I Am” statements and the profound divinity of Christ.

Romans 1 & 2: A verse-by-verse study of the most significant theological letter ever written, covering the power of the Gospel and the righteousness of God.

Graduation

Upon completion of these subjects at the end of the third year, students will graduate with their Diploma in Biblical Studies and Theology

Advanced Year 2: Leadership and Doctrine

  • Christian Leadership: Exploring the biblical models of servant-leadership and the practical skills required to lead God’s people with integrity.

Church History 1, 2, & 5: A broad journey through the centuries of the Christian Church, from the early fathers to modern movements, learning from our spiritual heritage.

Messianic Prophecies of Christ: Identifying and studying the specific Old Testament prophecies that were perfectly fulfilled in the life and ministry of Jesus.

Angelology and Demonology: A biblical examination of the spiritual realm, including the nature and roles of angels and the reality of spiritual warfare.

7 Laws of Teaching (Part 1 & 3): Master-level training in the art of education, focusing on how to effectively communicate and impart truth to others.

Graduation to Advanced Leadership

Lessons times are once per week from 1900hrs to 2130hrs

Fees are R1800 per year or R950 per semester (6 months). The year is divided 2 semesters
